The Grand Hotel Del Mare was born in 1964 in Bordighera during the legendary 60s, in the midst of an economic boom and the height of dolce vita.

It immediately became an iconic holiday destination on the Riviera. It was born from a revolutionary project for the time: a resort overlooking the sea immersed in a lush sub-tropical park with a private beach with pure, crystalline waters.

It stood in Bordighera, an elegant address on the Riviera with a mild climate all year round which allows holidays even out of season.

This year the GHM proudly celebrates 60 years of hospitality where, as in all Grand Hotels, many different generations have come together over the years and have become guests who have seen the Resort as their home by the sea.
